A history in techno. The theme of the night is clear considering that Tresor will celebrate 19 years with a wide spectrum of international talent in Globus and Tresor. Up front and center is Blake Baxter, a true veteran from Detroit. In the late 80s Baxter wrote techno history, was closely associated with the protagonists of the Underground Resistance project and is an integral part of Tresor since the early 90s. Daniel Rajkovic's sets are defined by influxes of tech-house, deep house and minimal. In order to bring his more housey moments to his fans, he created his own Delete Ltd. The third Globus artist is last year's Tresor.Award winner Kathy, new in our home yet skilled in her craft, and is gathering much speculation and attention with her new project "Alexander Sarazin & Kathy" - keep an eye on this lady.
On to the basement highlights beginning with Cari Lekebusch. The Swede has been among the most highly regarded and successful of Scandanavia's producers and released material also as Braincell or Mr. James Barth that is outstanding. Lekebusch's Hybrid label stands for crisp, no-nonsense techno that allows minimum place for melody with its fantastic rhythms. Also on the Tresor floor program is our resident techno scientist Pacou and the wonderful Niklas on live saxophone.
