Cris-H is an artist making waves in the Amsterdam scene in recent times. Partyflock decided to sit down with him and ask him about his journey from being a drummer in a band in England, to finding dance music, and relocating to Amsterdam where he got involved with music professionally. She is the youngest harder styles DJ and started attending lessons at DJ School Amsterdam when she was only 9 years old. She wanted to do something together with her dad because they both love music. She tried different styles but loved playing Raw Hardstyle the most. Find out more about Miss Isa!

Matteo, also known as Kenai, has always been passionate about music. "When I was younger I played the drums at home and in a band." He says. Kenai started producing music when he was 16 years old. "One of my friends taught me and I played in clubs in Italy." In 2017 the Italian DJ discovered hardcore and raw hardstyle while partying at HardBass. From that day Kenai fell in love with the genre. In 2019 Kenai released his first official track on Upcoming records, "that was the beginning of it all." He says.

We got to interview Anthony Pappa about the road back to normal life. He is from Australia and has had the longest lock down of anyone. What is it like to be back.

Jordy Göbbels, beter bekend als Chasner, kwam al op jonge leeftijd in aanraking met het maken van muziek. "Het is ooit allemaal begonnen op een klein keyboardje, toen was ik 4 jaar oud" vertelt hij. "Dat heeft zich later uitgemond tot mijn passie voor DJ'en en producen. Ik keek de Olympische Spelen waar Tiësto draaide en dat heeft me geïnspireerd om er echt iets mee te gaan doen." The first time Asya, also known as Sakyra, listened to hardcore was in 2010. "From the first moment I heard the track 'Hardcore Vibes' by Dune, I felt a big energy". She says. Asya got curious about the genre and started searching for more hardcore tracks on YouTube. "The first artists I found out of were Angerfirst, Tha Playah and Mad Dog. I fell in love with them directly, and that is when my passion for hardcore kept growing day by day." Her love for hardcore became so big that she decided to start making music herself in 2017.
