Biografie
Looseway was born in 1975 in the beautiful city of Ghent in Belgium.
In his young years it already became clear that he had music in his blood.
He owes his musicality to his parents, who were avid blues, rock and country lovers.
His father was a guitar and banjo player.
Looseway soon had the urge to sing along with him and often sang himself to sleep.
In elementary school, he went to music class and followed organ lessons.
Later in the 80's, he started taking an interest in New Wave, progressing to a New Beat fan in the 90's.
At home, he had the opportunity to organize a party every now and then, in a garage behind his house.
All his savings went to DJ equipment and later to producing gear, an Akai S900 sampler and an Atari ST with Cubase were his first purchases.
An old friend allowed him to use this gear in a studio to sample old synths in order to have material for own songs, some of those tracks were released.
Later on, he helped organizing parties of Christmass Kitchen Lab.
The highlight was a festival in Tulum (Mexico), where he was DJ'ing into the new millennium.
Since then, he hasn't stopped creating new music, with a fresh, unique and captivating sound.
