Biografie
Beyond their breathtaking melodies and explosive live sets, you'll find dance music's closest friendship. Dutch powerhouse duo Lucas & Steve have seen a momentous rise to stardom in recent years with consecutive summer hits, multiple platinum and golden records, an endless string of international performances and accolades from BUMA (The Netherlands), Fun Radio (France), DJ Mag, MTV and many more.
The pair are renowned for uplifting productions and emotive lyrics, etching their place in modern dance music with massive radio hits like "Summer On You", "Up Till Dawn", "Where Have You Gone", "Perfect" and of course "Letters", the title track of their 2020 debut album: "Letters to Remember". Their 16 song LP, which received the Netherlands' prestigious Edison Pop Award, showcases their musical diversity and solidifies Lucas & Steve's reputation as truly talented songwriters. With deeply embedded dance roots, the pair have collaborated with the likes of Armin van Buuren, Sam Feldt, W&W, Mike Williams and remixed many household names such as David Guetta, Robin Schulz, Kygo, Lost Frequencies and Illenium among many others.
Since, the Dutch tastemakers have continued their upward trajectory with a slew of highly anticipated and heavy hitting collaborations. 2021 saw Lucas & Steve first team up with R&B icons Blackstreet for the radio-friendly 'No Diggity', before bringing things back to the festival with 'Paper Planes', a joint venture alongside Norway's very own Tungevaag.

Een tijd geleden kregen de mannen een berichtje van Afrojack. "Hij vertelde dat hij een opzetje had van een hele toffe plaat en vroeg naar onze mening." Vertelt Lucas enthousiast. "We hoorden het, en het was eigenlijk meteen raak. We dachten: dit is echt tof! En sowieso tof om met Afrojack te werken. Tegelijkertijd heeft hij DubVision benaderd om iets met zijn drieën te doen, en eigenlijk was meteen iedereen aan boord! Soms heb je gewoon meteen bij een nummer dat er een soort van magie achter zit. Dat gevoel hadden we allemaal en toen zijn we met de opzet van Afrojack aan de slag gegaan. We hebben flink uitgebouwd en er zijn ook zoveel versies geweest. Tot uiteindelijk de versie die het nu is, en daar zijn we allemaal super blij mee."

Het dj- en producersduo Lucas & Steve lanceert deze maand de gloednieuwe radioshow 'Lucas & Steve Radio'. De aanstekelijke muziek van het bekende duo is vanaf 30 juni te horen in maar liefst 51 landen over de hele wereld, van Frankrijk tot Japan, en van Australië tot Argentinië. In Nederland is de show - voorheen de Skyline Sessions - exclusief te horen bij Radio 538.

Het dj-en producers duo Lucas & Steve brengt vandaag de nieuwe track "After Midnight" van Lucas & Steve, Yves V - (feat. Xoro) uit op het label Spinnin' Records. Voor deze track hebben ze de handen ineen geslagen met de belgische dj Yves V. En hoe? After Midnight is een knaller van een track met internationale allure en met voor velen een herkenbare melodie; de sample van de legendarische dansvloer klassieker 'Children' van Robert Miles. De track wordt al meteen geprezen op de Nederlandse radio, zowel Radio 538 als SLAM! hebben de track als Dance Smash en GrandSLAM! bekroond. Lucas & Steve hebben de krachten gebundeld met de dance-act 4 Strings. Vandaag brengen ze de track "If It Ain't Love" (ft. Lagique) uit op het label van Spinnin' Records. Het duo heeft zich inspireren door 4 Strings' grootste hit, de trance-klassieker The Silmarillia. De herkenbare tune van deze plaat samen met de pop-sound van Lucas & Steve zorgt ervoor dat je onmogelijk stil kan blijven staan. Voeg hier de vocals van de zanger Lagique aan toe en deze na-zomerse hit gaat niet meer uit je hoofd.Het dj- en producers duo Lucas & Steve is terug met nieuwe muziek. Na een succesvolle eerdere samenwerking met Dubvision kan een volgende track niet uitblijven. Vandaag releasen zij - op het label van Spinnin' Records - het nummer: 'Feel My Love'.
