Thunderdome 2010 - hardest trip ever..
ICE from Mannheim to Frankfurt with 15 Min delay
No chance to change the train in Frankfurt..
In Frankfurt 1h waiting for the last ICE to Utrecht.
In Düsseldorf we MUST change the ICE (technical problem)..
Arrived Utrecht with a 2,5h delay...
In the meantime it was snowing af
Utrecht back to Mannheim was the hell...
4h waiting in Utrecht Centraal (4h was planed - we must book it so) + 1 or 2h waiting because of the snow-kaos. No ICE was starting from Amsterdam Centraal so no train arrived in Utrecht Centraal.
After hours of waiting the ICE was coming (i don't know the time.. it was so cold i can't remember any time)..
Cause of the snow the train was slow as hell so we lost time again (+- 100Min delay).
In Cologne mainstation we changed the train - the train to Mannheim had 25Min delay....
Not enough delay ? Yes. Bonn mainstation ! The train was not leaving the station for about 110Min because of a frozen switch....
