Demon Queen

Wendy started DJ'ing as Demon Queen in '97, in a small club called 'Area 51' but quickly signed for a 2-year residency in 'Fauna', one of the most notorious Hardcore clubs in Belgium and surroundings (1998-2000).

In 2001 she released her first record 'Hardcore Soundz" together with friends in 'Da New Mafia Connection". The COREporation concept was launched on Placid K's Choose Or Lose Records label in 2004 to add a more industrial touch to releases, including collaborations with Tieum, Deester and a remix by Peaky Pounder.

Demon Queen combines mixing skills with singing as a special act and has played in Belgian clubs like: Kozzmozz, Hardcore Overdrive, La Bush, The Bumpp,... in Italy at the Ecu & Extreme Gheodrome. She also played at well-known parties in The Netherlands (Club X, Raving Nightmare), Germany and France, but her biggest international experience was without a doubt a Gothic Hardcore gig at Downtime New York Ciry in April 2000.

In 2002 she joined the Belgian Hardcore movement 'Club Hardcore' as a central asset in the organization of branded events and was a fundamental part in the founding of the 'Project: Hardcore' concept.

The female touch in her technique and her choice of records distinguishes Demon Queen from others and characterizes her style. She plays strictly vinyl in her favourite genres: Early Rave, Darkcore and Hardcore.

Demon Queen's last gigs were in 2011, a live show at Qontinent 2011 where she rocked the Footworxx stage, and the Footworxx NYE party. Now completely ready for a comeback, she is sure to blow your mind on the dance floor!
