Collaborative event mashed together and co-presented by Pantropical, Caetano Carvalho & MAMA. A mix of bass, beats, and vision from allover. We like to party, but the aim is to unleash that bit of punishment of luxury, glitch the tropical and take a step away from present day exotisms.

GODWONDER 🇩🇴 – selegna
Talented Producer and DJ operating from the fringes of the Amsterdam club scene. After moving from The Dominican Republic, Godwonder continued sharpening his blades in A'dam, making a versatile and explosive sound that contains Moombahton, Trap, Afro House and other styles. Godwonder's sound, which he calls "DemboHouse", has the intensity and feel of Gabber and Bubbling. It's no surprise that Munchi picked Godwonder to spearhead his Selegna label.

THE PUNISHMENT OF LUXURY 🇬🇧
DJ and producer from Leeds who grinds pop until it becomes a conglomerate of molten rhythms and sounds, taking influence from bassline, 4x4 and the niche genre. His sound is urgent and heavy, moving between frantic drums and new atmospheres for vocal samples to breathe in, rough like a large iron nail file.

Nadia has played the Rotterdam Afro / Angolese / Cape Verdean scene for five years. She is a DJ on the rise who wowed Maboku and many others at Pantropical last July. She switches back and forth effortlessly between kuduro, azonto, baile funk, soukous, funana, and afro house.
MELODYMELODY 🇧🇷
MelodyMelody is the alias of Caetano Carvalho, one of tonight's curators. He mixes music produced in the global peripheries. Despite his love for raw northern Brazilian Lambada and Carimbo rhythms, he also incorporates Calypso and Cumbia to meet modern Tecnomelody, Dembow, Pagotek, Afro House, Tarraxa, Kuduro and Funk Carioca, Juke and Ghetto House. Just don't call it 'global bass'.
