OK, This time I do it in english.
Since Trance Energy had a lot of visitors from around the world, I believe it would be better to share my experience with as many people possible.
If you want to use this report on another website, feel free to do so but be gentle enough to put the source and the author on it as well.
Thank you. Well well, here I am at my machine after a few hours of sleep.
It is very difficult to express what happened last night, because in my humble opinion, history was written.
I will tell the way I experienced it and which DJ's I attended to.

First of all, after dinner I prepared myself to go to Utrecht.
I decided to take the train from Hoofddorp train station.
For me that's really convenient, it's not a heavy populated train station, nor is it expensive to park your car (actually it's free of charge).
I arranged a meeting with my Hungarian friend who's living in London and came over by airplane so I had to get out at the trainstation of Schiphol airport to pick her up.
After doing so we continued our trip to Utrecht in order to get at the Jaarbeurs, which happened without any incidents. After walking to the premises and passing through security we were looking for my other friend who was also there but who was coming from a different direction.
We decided to go to Mainstage to check if something was happening and if my friend was there.
At that time Kyau & Albert were on their way to finish their set.
Since I didn't hear much, it's impossible for me to tell how it was.
Anyway we decided to stick around to see what Ferry Corsten was about to do. It was a really long time ago since I heard anything from Ferry.
I wasn't really interested in hearing any big electric influences in trance music, even though it might be quite refreshing.
Fortunately, he threw that idea out of the window and made a set the 'old-fashioned' way.
As always, he plays a flawless set and I couldn't detect any mistakes he made.
However I was going crazy on his set because it was really brilliant, especially when he played his own track 'Out of the blue' and the all time classic 'Gouryella - Gouryella'.
For me it would have almost perfect if he would end with 'Indigo' but that didn't happen. Oh yes and setting his big logo on fire was also nice :)

My friend recommended use to go see John O'Callaghan so we've decided to go there.
The futurestage was pretty empty when we arrived because John wasn't playing yet.
However something really interesting happened which exposed a phenomenon about where a big group of foreign visitors come from.
When John started playing the stage went completely full with Irish people.
They weren't difficult to recognize because mose of them were carrying the Irish flag and since I used to live in Dublin for 14 months, it's easier for me to recognise them as well.
However I wasn't really enjoying because the acoustics were simply terrible.
We decided to leave.

At that moment, I split up with the group (this 2nd friend had a bigger group with him) because I was going to meet someone else.
They went to Hardstage and I went to back to Mainstge because the 3rd friend was there with her group.
I was listening to Marco V at the same time and what I heard was good, but since I didn't hear the whole set I can't say much about it.
When Marco V was finished I think most weren't aware that history was going to be written.
I couldn't say what to expect from Tiësto.
However, since he was planned for a 2 and a half hour set I believe it was going to be good.

Tiësto's set is the perfect set for people who listen trance for quite some time (>8 years) because he was going to make it a passage for classics.
He started with 'Push - Universal' which is and will be an all time classic track.
It became pretty clear that he wanted to show everyone once more who calls the shots in the world of trance music and DJing.
We all know his reputation but it seems he wanted to confirm that one more time.

And he did. It went from brilliant to crazy to madness to insanity.
Alltime classics such as 'Armani & Ghost - Airport', 'Push - The Legacy' and many more which I can't come up at this time.
He ended his set with 'Marcel Woods - Advanced' and 'Sander van Doorn - Riff'.
This has become by far a legendary set in the history of trance music and as I said earlier, history has been written.
In my wildest dreams I couldn't expect THIS to happen by a long shot but it did.
If you weren't able to witness Tiësto's set at Trance Energy, then you certainly missed something.
This was really insane, and when Tiësto finished I was really hungry and I needed to sit down.

Realizing what happened, I was enjoying my hamburger and the only I could think of doing was going home because in my opinion there was no way that any DJ could match or even overtake
Tiësto's performance.
I didn't hear Sander van Doorn at all but I can imagine that he had a hard time trying to keep up after such a marvelous event.
I hope I don't have to feel sorry for him.

After a long break we decided to finish the night with Joop! until the end.
The sound could have been better at Hardstage but it was fine with me.
He delivered a very good set so I can go home with a high sence of satisfaction.
However the lights went on before he finished his set so that made the end a little weird, as if the Jaarbeurs wanted us to leave :p

The party was over, people staggering back to the train station or car in order to get home.
I took the train back to Hoofddorp and I got in my car and back home, fortunately the streets were empty :)

We can conclude that this was a historical night in the history of Trance Energy.
I have a feeling that Trance is coming back to become the main sound of dance music again, after a terrible time of club, house, groove and garage only.
For trance enthousiasts, like myself, it was never away but I believe Trance music was suffering from these influenced mentioned above, which made the quality of the productions suffer.
I expect 2008 to become a great year again. The Jaarbeurs is good location, prices for water were a bit too high (2 tokens = 5 euro).
The only little downside was that my girlfriend couldn't be here to witness this event, maybe next year ;)

Feel free to respond in any language or not at all. And again, if you want to share it on other websites, just tell them who wrote this one ;)
