18Syntax is back at Luxor Live. For this edition Syntax residents Oscar and Sjef are joined by Whistle & Klont, who released their debut EP Double Knee earlier this year on the German label ANUS Records.
Both artists, based in Rotterdam and Utrecht, demonstrate different approaches to production from technical synthesis through to dreams of chaotic break sequences. Inspired by future garage and early footwork, and separated from each other by the pandemic, they held many late night video call jam sessions. The result is Double Knee, delivering four bass-drenched bangers ready to conquer the dance floor.
