Kiesgrube "Stay Wild Moonchild“! Jeden Sonntag bei gutem Wetter öffnen wir unseren Seated Open Air Garden. Wie Ihr euch schon denken könnt, werden das keine regulären Kiesgrube-Party-Events. Wir machen es uns dennoch super nice! Unseren herrlichen Garten haben wir wunderschön dekoriert und überall Tische und Bänke aufgestellt. Serviert werden euch köstliche Getränke und einige kulinarische Highlights. Und vor allem sehen wir uns alle eeeeendlich wieder! Nur allzu gerne hätten wir mit euch den ganzen Sommer über in unserer heiß geliebten Kiesgrube richtig wild gefeiert. Hätte, hätte, Fahrradkette… Warum daraus in diesem Jahr leider nichts wird, wissen wir alle. Wir möchten uns aber nicht damit abfinden, unsere Kiesgrube-Familie, dieses Jahr überhaupt nicht zu treffen. Wir vermissen euch alle sehr, sehnen uns nach der ganz besonderen Gemeinschaft, nach tollen Gesprächen, nach leckeren Drinks in der Sonne und nach genialer Musik von unseren Lieblings-DJs!

Eine Schlüsselfigur in der niederländischen Szene seit 1991. Bekannt als Headliner in Clubs wie dem Berghain, Space Ibiza, Womb Tokio, Watergate, regelmäßigen Sets bei Elrow und jedem großem Festival in den Niederlanden. Treibende Kraft als Label Boss bei Gem Records und verantwortlich für aufstrebende Künstler wie Enrico Sangiuliano und Reinier Zonneveld. Garant für zahlreiche Techno Klassiker in über 25 Jahren und einer der bodenständigsten Pioniere in der Welt der elektronischen Musik. So kann Jeroen Verheij a.k.a. Secret Cinema beschrieben werden. Mit einem Rückblick auf seine Karriere und Veröffentlichungen auf Gem, EC, Drumcode und Cocoon hat Secret Cinema dennoch einiges vor.
Carlos Valdes ist seit Jahren als DJ, Label Boss und Promoter fester Bestandteil der Amsterdamer Szene. Seine DJ Sets enthalten alles von hypnotischem Techno bis hin zu kicking House. Lieber wählt er die richtige Musik zur richtigen Zeit als dass er große Hits spielt. Carlos hat sich in seiner Heimat, in Europa und Weltweit einen Namen gemacht. Letztes Jahr hat er in angesehenen Clubs wie der Panorama Bar, de School und Concrete gespielt, sowie Festivals wie Awakenings, Melt und Lowlands.

Wenn eine Stadt eine blühende Szene hat, passieren schöne Dinge schon mal zufällig. Genau das passierte den beiden SlapFunk Brüder Anil Aras und Lockhead während einer dieser Clubnächte. Eine Vision von einer möglichen Einheit. Eine direkte Übersetzung ihrer musikalischen Leidenschaft gepaart mit Live Elementen; house on a phreaky level.

Mit ihrem abwechslungsreichen Sound bewegt Sanja Tanzflächen in aller Welt. Dabei mischt sie House, Breaks, Minimal, Garage und Techno verpackt in ihrem ganz eigenen Flair. Als First Lady von SlapFunk konnte sie ihren Sound weitertragen und weltweit ein breites Publikum erreichen, zuletzt in Honduras und El Salvador als Südamerika Highlight.

Kiesgrube "Stay Wild Moonchild"! Every Sunday, when the weather is good weather, we open our Seated Open Air Garden. As you can imagine, these won't be regular Kiesgrube party events you know and love. But we still make it super nice. We have decorated our beautiful garden and set up tables and benches everywhere. And our team will serve you delicious drinks and some culinary highlights with your meal. And above all, we'll see each other again! We can hardly wait!
We would have loved to celebrate with you all summer long, in our beloved Kiesgrube. Had, would have, round and round we go... Basically, we all know why it won't work out this year.
But not seeing our Kiesgrube family at all this year just wasn't gonna fly. We miss you all too much! We long for our community, for great conversations, for delicious drinks under the hot sun, and for awesome music from our favourite DJs.

A key figure on the Dutch scene since 1991. An international headlining artist known for his sets at Berghain, Space Ibiza, Womb Tokio, Watergate, his frequent Elrow gigs or headlining every major festival in the Netherlands. Gem Records label boss responsible for moving the careers of Egbert, Enrico Sangiuliano and Reinier Zonneveld forward. Steady producer of countless essential techno classics for over 25 years. One of the most original and down to earth pioneers of electronic music on the planet. All legitimate ways to describe Jeroen Verheij a.k.a. Secret Cinema.
A looking back on his career with releases on Gem, EC, Drumcode and Cocoon that defined the sound of eras for many clubbers of several generations and headlining stages across the globe Secret Cinema still feels he must accomplish more.
Carlos Valdes has been at the heart of the Amsterdam scene for years, as a DJ, label boss and promoter. His DJ sets mix up everything from hypnotic techno to kicking house and, rather than playing all the big hits, he selects the records that make most sense at the time. Carlos has earned a fine reputation in his own country, around Europe and also outside the continent. The last year he has played esteemed clubs like Panorama bar, de School and Concrete as well as festivals such as Awakenings, Melt and Lowlands.

When a city has a thriving scene, beautiful things can coincidentally occur. This is exactly what happened on another random night at a club. The two SlapFunk brothers Anil Aras and Locklead saw something in each other that was on a different level. A vision of an entity that could exist. A direct translation of their musical passion by live elements; house on a phreaky level.
@Sanja is moving dance floors near and far with her colorful sound, layering house, breaks, minimal, garage and a touch of techno wrapped up in a flair that is entirely her own. As the First Lady of SlapFunk, she has been pushing her sound as a reflective of her spirit and has been able to catalyst herself and reach a wider audience throughout the world, with Honduras and El Salvador as her recent South American highlights.
