The Blue Carpet Band are a powerhouse 5 piece garage/dirty rock'n'roll band based in and around London. Like classic blues-rock proponents such as The Yardbirds and early Rolling Stones mixing it up with New York punk and late 60's protopunk. Think big riffs, 12-bar boogie and unstoppable energy.

Billy & The Bobcats
Na jaren speelervaring in verschillende bezettingen, bracht een liefde voor ouderwetse rock ‘n roll deze jongelui bij elkaar. Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochran, Elvis Presley: Met Beatle Bart, Jo-Han Solo, Wessel de beuker en Funky Frank komen de oude helden weer tot leven.
Na twee jaar en meerdere optredens verder hebben we een strakke set opgebouwd. Korte, snelle nummers, puntige drums en scheurende solo’s wisselen we af met slimme popsongs uit de jaren zestig en wat eigen werk.
In de praktijk zien we dat Billy & the Bobcats het ideale breekijzer is voor een avond: zelfs de meest stugge boer staat aan het eind van onze set mee te brullen.
