The very first 45rpm records were released by RCA Vinctor on March 31st. 1949, exactly 70 years ago today!! Officialy Eddy Arnold's Texarkana Baby is the first 45rpm record ever (48-0001-A, released on green wax). To celebrate the 70th birthday of the 45rpm record, Amsterdam BeatClub puts up an amazing party, feat. some of the finest 45rpm record collectors behind the decks.
