A trip into House, Disco, Boogie and beyond

----------------------------------

Night Flight is a club night focused on the cosmic side of soul music (in the broadest sense of the word). As a reaction to the stale character of most modern dance events, we aim for a warm and comforting environment with deep and uplifting music. Soaring through time and genre we'll bring you sounds in the likes of Gil Scott-Heron, Roy Ayers, Fela Kuti, Aquarian Dream, Patrick Adams, Larry Heard, Virgo 4, Theo Parrish, Dam-Funk and other contemporaries and obscurities, making sure that the soul is stirred and the body is moved.

- Ksoul (It) -
With some mind-blowing releases out on Morphine, Uzuri, Patrice Scott's Sistrum and his own Kindasoul label, Ksoul has been making massive noise as a producer the past few years. And with 20 years of experience behind the decks, there is more than enough reason for us to have him over to play some essential Detroit Techno and 80's Chicago House.

- Legowelt (DJ-set) -
To close the night The Hague's own legendary Legowelt comes over to play a DJ-set. As heavy behind the turntables as behind his drum machines and synthesizers, he is sure to treat us with some vintage jacking Chicago Acid sounds on already the fifth edition of Night Flight.
