Biografie
It's safe to say Marc Volt is one of the most promising talents in the house scene at the moment. Wether that's on the big mainstages, like Sexy By Nature in De Onderzeebootloods Rotterdam, at Mysteryland Festival, or in an intimate club setting such as Mad Fox Amsterdam. With sound defining releases in 2019 like 'Orye' and 'Let Me Tell You' Marc steadily builds his momentum. Forthcoming releases are set for Sono Music, Snatch! Records and DVINE Sounds.
Marc signed his release 'Bansuri' to Sono Music (Armada) by Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, who invited him to play their private showcase during the Amsterdam Dance Event. This was followed by 'The Tail' on Snatch! Records. In 2018 'In My Mind', together with Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano, gained more than 1 million streams on Spotify and was one of the most (#101) played tracks of 2018 according to 1001tracklists.com.
Marc's sound can be described as UK influenced tech house, with a classic touch, percussive grooves and always with that quirky Marc Volt signature sound. An enticing mix that did not go unnoticed, as Marc's most recent releases received support by house legends like Solomun, Mistajam (BBC Radio1), Joris Voorn, Detlef, Allendes (Ants) as well as Jonas Blue, Fedde le Grand, Kryder, Zonderling and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano. This continuous support of the biggest names in the scene is a reward for the many hours he devoted to his craft in the studio.
In July 2019 Marc Volt launched his weekly podcast, called 'In The Box' which is available on Spotify and Apple Music, with continuous support by 1001tracklists.com.
