Biografie
Le Cousin is the brainchild of 22-year old sound engineer Jesse Donkor – a guy with a broad taste in music who draws influences from old school Techno, House and Dance Music alike.
His first release, an EP on Broken Music, captured his style perfectly: showcasing uplifting vocal breakbeat House and Off-Deat Detroit style Techno. It received support from names like Ben Westbeech, SCNTST, Whistla, goldFFinch, Inspector Dubplate and Lefto.
Also, it was picked up by prominent radio stations such as BBC 1xtra, Studio Brussel and Ministry of Sound. A fresh new EP and various remixes are in the pipeline for 2013. His DJ sets amalgamate and blend all these styles as favoured by many including Studio Brussels, who asked him to be one of their new resident Playground DJs as from november 2012.
