Biografie
Deaf Förever gratefully draws from Motörhead's 45-year oeuvre. And just like their role model, preferably at high volume, liquid refreshments within reach and an audience that screams along with one arm in the air while headbanging furiously.
Initially, this noisy quintet was established for a one-off festival performance. Of the 7,000 unsuspecting attendees, some fled in absolute panic due to inadequate hearing protection. In the world of Deaf Förever, that's just the biggest compliment.
The overwhelming response left the boys wanting more. Because just like the late godfather of heavy metal Lemmy, these supersonic bastards are not unknown to have a filthy party on and in front of the stage. Beer, noise, some sweat, you know how it works. And so Deaf Förever was here to stay.
Added up, these villains (actually quite nice guys) have about 150 years of stage experience in illustrious orchestras such as Rompeprop, Violation of Trust, Hardsell, Mad Cows, Buckshot and Offerblok. Through the years they have covered many stages in high-octane blood, rock & roll sweat and probably a tear here and there.
By now, Deaf Förever has already polluted several stages at in the Netherlands and abroad and left those present for deaf. Not surprisingly, because if you've ever seen Motörhead live you know those old and new classics blow you away. And that is exactly what Deaf Förever has to offer.
In 1986 Lemmy barked at the world in the song Deaf Forever: "All men are equal when their memory fades". Thanks to Deaf Förever, the memory of Lemmy will not fade. In fact, it is getting louder by the day.
