Biografie
Throughout their long friendship with their insatiable passion for music, Kaan Tan and Ricardo Quao brought to life the Duo Kantarik, based in Zurich Switzerland.
Kantarik are well known for their energetic driving sets, with a distinctive style of music. Their power and joy which they have on stage when doing what they love is contagious. Because of their authenticity, the duo gained a big reputation in the underground scene of Zurich within no time.
In 2015, the guys became residents at one of the best known and most highly respected party labels of Switzerland, Terrazzza (Swiss Nightlife Award 2015). This enabled the duo to play at Zürich's longest running Club Supermarket. A club which stands for electronic music in Switzerland and shaped Zürich's nightlife scene for the past 18 years. This is the place where thousands of fascinated ravers have already had the chance to experience the incomparable sets of these two young men.
The tireless effort they put in to realizing their dream to become well-known djs gave them the opportunity to play alongside big names of the business at national and international gigs. Solomun, The Martinez Brothers, Leon, Nathan Barato, Sabb, Oxia, Seb Zito, Subb-an, Mathias Tanzmann, Toni Varga, Enzo Siragusa and Hito are just some of them.
Planning several releases within the next months.
