Biografie
Momis Alanis was born in Monterrey, Mexico where she developed her passion for music at an early age and went on to study intensive DJ courses. She has been in the scene for over 6 years and her musical background is evident every time she performs.
In addition to her residency with W Mexico City, Momis has performed in distinguished venues such as Queen by SOFA, Privatt, Ten Club (Campestre), Barezzito (Mty), Santissima (Fair Aguascalientes), Habitat Qtro (opening set for Miami Husslers), ADDE Club (Mexico City), Empire Lounge (McAllen Tx), Lobby (Mty), Pepper (Mty), The New Ice House (McAllen Tx), Palladium (Acapulco), Tesla (Qtro), Frank's (Metepec), Cinema (Torreon), Hard Rock (Riviera Maya), Apotheke (Mexico City), Rotter (Morelia), LOVE (Acapulco), Hannah Sun Club (Acapulco), Lucas (Metepec), ME (Cancun), Blue Parrot (Playa del Carmen) Brunch "Sirilo" (Qtro), Gin Gin (Metepec), Nobu (Mexico City), La Unica (Mexico City), Ragga (Mexico City) among others.
Momis has worked with exclusive brands including Lancome, Urban Decay, Sephora, Studio F, TOUS, Mecanico Jeans, Life & Style Magazine, Dos Equis, Pioneer Mexico and Televisa. She has also participated in major events such as Spring Fest 2014 (Mty) with Belinda, Feria de San Pedro, Jhonnie Ginger Tour (Metepec), Sunrise Music Festival at the Palladium, EDC Mexico 2016, Pray to Music (Puebla & Merida), Beat Teens, private events throughout Mexico and a guest spot at Beat 100.9, Mexico's most important radio station for electronic music.
Momis is known for her diverse range of genres; her sets include House, Tech House, Deep House, Nudisco, Indie Dance, EDM, Progressive House, Electro House and Techno, Bass, Trap, Hardstyle and she released her first collaboration with VDZ, "LOUD" with Solitario Records
