Biografie
Talea Jacta is a two piece band from Porto by guitarrist Pedro Pestana (10000 Russos, Tren Go! Sound System) and drummer and cymbal and gong smith João Pais Filipe (HHY & The Macumbas, Sektor 304, Montanha Magnética, Paisel).
Their music combines Pais' ethno-techno polyrhythms and Pestana's guitar-driven martian soundscapes circularly and repetitively in long and extensive songs.
The beginning of this beautiful friendship was in February 2016 when they got together for an improvised gig in Porto under the series of "unlikely duets" by Favela Discos.
It went so well that they went recording in July at HertzControl.
The first recording session was right after Éder's goal, couldn't go bad now, could it?
