Biografie
Hailing from a country known for its wild underground rave parties and beautiful women, Ukrainian born Anastazia definitely knows how to get a party started. Some know her as Dj Nasty dishing out a unique blend of hard trance and hardstyle, others as Anastazia who has the edm party goers moving from go to woe.
From a young age Anastazia displayed her profound passion for music as a talent piano player and ballerina. Naturally, it wasn't long before she discovered the edgy, stimulating sounds of the electronic dance music. But it was after moving to Australia in 2003, her keen ear for electronic dance music began to flourish. Picking up her first set of Stanton turntables in 2006, she worked hard at her new hobby, mastering the needles and developing her unique style. Encouraged and mentored by some of Canberra's most recognisable djs, she made her debut as Nasty in December 2007 and later as Anastazia in 2012.
It didn't take long for this energetic young lady to become a recognised figure in the edm community, establishing both a local and interstate fan base. She has quickly climbed the ranks and has supported a number of international and local acts, and broadened her list of accomplishments from playing at a number of local club nights and big events in Canberra, to gracing some of Sydney's and Melbourne's most popular venues and playing at some of the biggest hard dance events Australia has to offer, such as Transmission, Utopia, Defqon 1 and Bass Control.
Anastazia made her international debut at Audiosurgery and Firewall in 2010, and has played alongside with some of the biggest international names in edm.
Today she is continuing to play at some of the most popular dance events around Australia and has more upcoming international appearances.
