Mario Hammer is collecting synths now for 20 years and has some very rare and hard to get machines at hand that he chosed to involve in this Chill-Out masterpiece: Mario Hammer And The Lonely Robot 'L'esprit De L'escalier' (Traum CD36) He was encouraged by people such as Dominik Eulberg, Robert Babicz and certainly us the label TRAUM to write a whole album in this unique style which meant not to be involved in any club parameters or BPM, instead he was going with The Flow of what the machines acted up upon him - which was a totally new approach for him.
Mario Hammer has been successful with various styles from deep house to techno music in the past and has been charted by people such as John Digweed.

We know his attempt is a brave one and the intensity of the music might be new to a lot of you, but a few of you will recognize some of the sounds from synths which have been used in music from the 70ies... once you hear the continuous mix with great transitions you understand what this whole piece of music with 13 trax is all about. 'L'esprit De L'escalier' achieves a sensational depth by being not limited or compressed . Here you hear the full range of a sound. All 13 trax are done only with vintage hardware.

Legendary producer and dance floor slayer DJ Zinc is back with another hot new track that reminds us just why he has been at the top of his game for so long.

Having perfected every style of dance from drum & bass to UK garage, breakbeat to jungle over his long career, Zinc is a true pioneer who never sits still. More recently he has been known for inventing crack house, as well as for collaborating with the likes of A-Trak, and for his releases on the Rinse label. This new single, was premiered by Annie Mac on Radio 1 and is sure to be another big hit for the London man.

Entitled 'Forever' it is a fresh house jam with perfectly catchy and emotive vocals. Bold bass notes have more bounce than the rubberiest of balls and the colourful chords that dance along with the beat are full of heart warming charm.
