Continuously redefining the definition of what a festival can enfold, the Horst vision for 2022 carries constructive collaborations at its core. 𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗦.
The Horst Exhibition "The Act of Breathing" will be celestially opened during this year's festival and will afterwards be accessible again from May 12 to July 31. The Exhibition will be part of a greater whole in collaboration with KANAL - Centre Pompidou. Participating artists are:

𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘.
Like every other year, Horst collaborates with new architects to liven up the Asiat-site with bewildering stages. Salottobuono is a young architecture office from Milan and will re-activate the greenhouse pavilion of Rotor, built in 2021. Growing practice from Brussel Traumnovelle will design the temporary three-day mainstage.

London based JAM will create an immersive listening space for Horst, experimenting with the idea of loops and cycles within ambient composition and how they are reflected physically. The Antwerp & London based artist Laure Prouvost will set the scene for a brand new stage in one of the industrial warehouse rooms at Asiat.

𝗔𝗦𝗜𝗔𝗧.
For the third year in a row, the Asiat site — a former military site with two iconic cooling towers as a backdrop — makes up for Horst’s perfect home base. The vast warehouses, efficient barracks and spacious driving courts have been taken over by nature. In a space where time stood still, Horst brings back energy and bewilderment.
