Omegatypez

Inceptively the Omegatypez project consisted of Fabian Schmidt and Johannes Zech, however at the end of 2013 the duo fragmented as the two had differing musical visions. Today, Fabian is the commander-in-chief of the project.

The mutual spilt presented an opportunity to hone and perfect the distinctive Omegatypez sound, one which Fabian has grasped with both hands. His status has the number 1 German hard dance act is now unquestionable, and he has continued to perform at all of Europe's major festivals - from Dreamfields to Defqon, Q-base to Tomorrowlands, Omegatypez's trademark euphoric melodies have become an ever-present feature.

Over the years Omegatypez has received massive support from all the major players within the melodic branch of hardstyle, and recently his music has reached new heights. His tracks have routinely featured within the major Hardstyle podcasts, most notably Hard With Style, Brennan Heart's WER show, and Isaac's Hardstyle Session. Furthermore, his track 'Good Love' featured within Frontliner's 'top ten of 2014', and 'P.Y.H.U' has been played by Headhunterz, Zatox, Phrantic, Neilio, and Adrenalize to name just a few, and he is not intending to stop any time soon. Collaborations with Phuture Noize (appearing on their new album), A.S.Y.S, and a raft of new solo tracks in the works mean that the future is bright for this talented young act.

In the past, Omegatypez was described as a promising 'up and comer' within the Hardstyle family, but those days are long gone. Today, he is now a fully fledged member of the melodic hierarchy, one who is intent on spreading his euphoric melodies far and wide.
