Biografie
Constantly striving for excellence, Michael James never disappoints.
His style is deep and eclectic and consists of elements of dub, minimal, house and techno. Feeding off the sheer energy from the crowd his dynamic sets are a journey that everyone should have the privilege of experiencing. Having already delivered two stellar releases, 'I Get Down' on Monique Musique and 'Zoo Attitude' on it's sister label Monique Spéciale, Michael James has proven his production prowess adjacent to his Djing dexterity. His productions are a marriage of deep and tech house and confirm the positive influence that electronic music has had on his life so far.
Michael James started to DJ at the age of 18 and quickly affirmed his fascination with deep, grooving electronic music. Engulfed in this new found paradise he steadily progressed on the DJ circuit, playing parties around the world and eventually earned himself a residency at The Zoo Project's infamous 'Seal Pit'.
Michael James keeps his creative juices flowing by splitting his time between England and Ibiza. With two sublime releases in 2009 and 2010, supported by the likes of Varoslav, Loco Dice and SIS among others, another successful release on Channel Zoo recordings, and a compilation due out in early 2013, the future is looking very bright for this young star.
