DJ GizmoBiografie
An international DJ with over 30 years of experience, played at the world's largest Raves with The Dreamteam. Festivals around the world, from Australia to the United States. He became the "Best International DJ 1995" the Parisienne Rave Awards in Zurich in Switzerland over Carl Cox & Sven Vath! The name of DJ Gizmo can not be said without the success of the 'gabber'house in the 90 His first real big parties were obviously on Rave the City in the Hague with his buddy Dark Raver and their products face the Hague and later also with the Dreamteam. he now runs occasionally other styles, but he is always faithful remained on the dance music. Now he still plays Old Skool, Early Rave, Happy Hardcore, Hardcore, Early Hardstyle, House Classics & House called Gizmo Ferry Salee.
He first started with the Series "Harder Mach" 1 to 9 published by Sony. Later it Hardstyle. When he was asked to sign at Q-Dance Bookings and again a new milestone in the hardstyle with parties like Defcon, mysteryland etc ..
To start at the beginning …
Ferry Salee (DJ Gizmo) was born on June 3, 1965 in The Hague. When he was
12 years old he started a drive-in show, which he Disco, Soul & Funk played at celebrations of hockey or football constrictions and schools. This resulted in a job at the Roller Disco in The Hague in 1983, where he turned Hip Hop. He was always interested in music and working with his turntables and of course with scratch! In 1988 Ferry has signed up with a mix match of Avro's 3 Times by turn of Jaydee. There he was fourth behind Jean who was 3rd, Michel de Heij (2nd) and Erick E (1st). During that time he played for many clubs.
In 1989 he came into contact with the "house" and began to turn in big clubs like RIU Palace & BCM Mallorca with King Bee & Carl Cox and The Space in Ibiza.
In the Netherlands he started at Club 61 & 71 in Noordwijk and then in the Bios in Amsterdam with Alex van Oosterom & King Bee and later at the Blue Inn Studies in Rotterdam, along with Paul Morales and Hithouse. Around 1992 there was a new style of music, the 'gabber' and from then handled the career of DJ Gizmo. He always came in with Park View Darkie where DJ Rob & Paul Elstak always turned. Rave the City, Thunderdome was not much later he was the last member of The Dreamteam with Buzz Fuzz, Dano and The Prophet! This famous DJ team had when all gigs all over the world. In the Netherlands Dj Gizmo performed both solo and with The Dreamteam at parties like Mystery Land, Hellraiser, Thunderdome and Megarave. Thanks to his broad interests and his years of experience he can turn almost anything although it is now almost exclusively on Ceedee and or USB sticks!
At this time he presents a radio show on Fresh FM in The Hague for ten years every Wednesday from 21:00 to 23:00.
It is now still "Hard House Generation" with Norman. Dark Raver, The Splinter Cor & Sixpack.
Each week, DJs from home and abroad & Specials from various parties.
