The Presidents of Antartica

At a crisp -30°C, the presidents of Antarctica sat in their white house (literally) discussing issues of national importance. They had become presidents by way of a bet they won with a Malaysian power-polka band, whose story sounded oddly believable at the time. The talking points were as always pretty dry and for some time now, the presidents had been growing weary of their situation. Honestly, there wasn't much to govern. The population consisted mainly out of penguins and we all know what kind self-important apathetic bastards they can be. Anyway, they were pretty self-sufficient, so the presidents looked to a new challenge!

After putting a "Gone fishing" sign on the door, the Presidents decided to move back to Europe and started writing songs and rehearsing again! It was as if the six had a new found energy! They created a sound based on ice cold grooves layered with the warmest vocals and horns and spliced with quirky keys and synths. It's a truly collective approach to songwriting and it gives off a very special atmosphere. Elements from funk, world music, jazz, electro and even house music are combined and served chilled when you go and see this band!
