DJ V-NIX is a Full-on Psytrance DJ from Leeuwarden who started spinning the decks somewhere in 2011 as 'Audio Terrorist' for 3rd-BIT Events which he still plays for. in 2018 he changed his name to DJ V-NIX
In September 1988 DJ V-NIX was born in Bolsward, a small town in the North of The Netherlands. He once had an amateur drive-in-show with his neighbour when he was 11 years old.
DJ V-NIX began listening to GOA Trance when he moved to Leeuwarden in 2007, where he met DJ Nilezz (3rd-BIT). At that time he played guitar in a punkband. After he went to several Psy Trance festivals he wanted more GOA!
In the beginning of 2010 he started messing around with turntables. He started playing only Progressive Psy-Trance because he didn't have his own CD's. Eversince there was a 3rd-BIT DJ-booth in his own house, he was absolutely wild about mixing Psy-Trance. When DJ Nilezz, DJ Anand(3rd-BIT) and DJ Paul B(3rd-BIT) spotted his dedication to mixing, they motivated him to find out which kind of Psy-Trance he really enjoyes most. It turned out to be Full-On filled with spine shivering basslines which he prefers.
In april 2011 he played his debute DJ-set for local audience under the name 'Audio Terrorist'.
Eversince he has played at lots of indoor Psy-trance party's in multiple venues in Leeuwarden, Groningen, Rotterdam, Berlin and many more.
In 2013 he played his first abroad outdoor psytrance festival Pastafarix in The Czech Republic, he also played at Psy-Fi's First festival edition.
in 2014 he keeps playing on the indoor venues in the North of Holland, he also played at the big Psy-Fi Inside the Vortex Festival in Leeuwarden, Holland, and he played his debute Hi-Tech set on this same festival.
In 2015 he will continue playing Full-on sets as prior genre, but he is also going to improve and evolve his Hi-Tech performance. in this years Psy-Fi Into the Void Festival he will play a powerfull Hi-Tech set
In 2016 he noticed that he wasn't feeling as passionate for the Hi-Tech music as he does for Full-on Psychedelic, this became the moment he decided to quit playing Hi-Tech and ony focus on Full-on Psychedelic.
In 2018 he played his last Hi-tech set on Psy-Fi festival: 'a Shamanic Experience'. With lots of personal struggles in this year, he decided to change his artist name to DJ V-NIX
