Biografie
The whole story of these two men already started in their childhood. They met each other on a holiday and became friends. After that, they separated and went their own path. Back then they did not know that they would meet again. Years later, in the summer of 2016, they saw each other on a festival. They found out that they shared the same passion: hardstyle.
Gijs fell in love with hardstyle when he heard the track Aliens by Noisecontrollers. From then on, there was no way back. He visited his first hardstyle event in 2011. Hardstyle became his lifestyle, and so he decided in 2012 to take dj lessons and to start producing music. A year later he created his first alias called 'Ghemical'.
Dirk started listening to hardstyle in 2011 and went to his first festival in the beginning of 2012. From that moment on he discovered that hardstyle was more than just music. After a couple of years he decided that listening to hardstyle was not enough. He chose to put all his energy and thoughts in his passion for music. So in 2015 Dirk bought a DJ-set and started performing by the name of 'D-Strike'.
When they reunited in 2016, Gijs and Dirk immediately decided to step into the studio to create a track together. At that time they found out that they shared the same vision, taste and passion for making hardstyle music. They became close friends and made a new step in their career. They would combine their forces and start a new act together.
A brand new act, called 'Revelators', was born and launched in the summer of 2017. In the couple of years that passed, their skills, knowledge and passion kept on growing. They performed at some great parties like Reminder, Madhouze, UDNZ Festival, The Ace Of Spades and even IMPAQT.
But producing their own music was their main-job. After lots of hours and days in the studio they released several tracks on their own. But it was time to step the game up..
In the spring of 2019 they created the official anthem for UDNZ Festival 2019. And after that they even managed to release their first track on the label X-Raw Records, called ' Hack The Game'!
So now they're on the next level, the question remains: what will the future bring?
Along the road that they travel, their identity will reveal itself, bit by bit.
Revelators represent raw-edged hardstyle in a pure form: inspiring, melodic and hard!
