Patrick Chen (formerly known as PTX) has reinvented himself as 'Animato', with a new style that borders on a delicate meeting point of modern Progressive Psy-Trance.
This project was a natural step forward, as Animato has gotten firsthand experience on the worldwide psychedelic circuit. After a few years of constant grinding in the studio, worldwide shows & performing on the biggest stages at events such as Boom Festival, Dreamstate, Psy Fi, & many more, he summarized his long journey in the fields of consciousness with a masterpiece debut album called 'Harmonize'. Including guest appearances by Liquid Soul, Freedom Fighters, Ritmo, Perfect Stranger, Ticon & Sonic Species.

Animato was always an expert in creating great progressive melodic tunes. Lately, he's been pushing his boundaries with a psychedelic hybrid of power and emotion, wrapped in that famous Animato production style.
In the last year, Animato has continued to tour across the world being invited back to large events while performing at ones such as Boom festival 2018, EDC, Tribe Festival, and Airbeat One. All while still releasing tracks under major labels with artists such as Ace Ventura, Ritmo and more as well as appearing on compilation albums like Street Parade 2018 Official (mixed by Liquid Soul), Vini Vici ( Dream State ) and more.
